Dear Gr. 4A Parents,
Next Thursday morning progress on the Kidpreneur project will continue. It has been great to see all the ideas that students have come up with!
What Did We Do Last Week?
Last week we talked about how businesses come up with names. The class watched a video that showed how the company, Apple, came up with its name. We also reviewed different types of business names and the kids starting brainstorming ideas for a business name of their own.
What Will We Do Next Week?
The kids will choose a name for their business from the ideas that were brainstormed last week. Children have all chosen a product they want to develop. Names and products must be finalized because because we begin creating business logos in next week's lab.
What Does Your Child Want to Make and Sell on Market Day?
Children have either selected to make a product from the materials that are available in kits from the Kidpreneur project or they have opted to make their own products. Several students have opted for their own products and will need to purchase their own supplies and have them ready to send to class on Nov. 2nd. I recommend that you check with your child, if you haven't done so already, to determine which option they have chosen and the materials that need to be purchased.
Please contact me if you have any questions.
Warm regards,
Ms. Frances
